Fund detail

Risk management framework

Each control set out below is either specified in the fund mandate or carried out by an independent third party. Net asset value is determined by the administrator, not by the manager.

Valuation

Ascent Fund Services, monthly

Net asset value is calculated monthly by an independent fund administrator and audited annually by Bowman Group. Investor statements are issued only once valuation has been finalised.

Market risk

Capped by mandate

Non-directional positions are hedged and rebalanced within defined tolerance bands. Directional exposure in WG2-A is limited to a fixed proportion of the portfolio irrespective of market view. WG2-S carries no directional exposure.

Counterparty risk

Fireblocks, Kryptodian, BitGo, Gnosis

Assets are held with regulated custodians and distributed across multiple venues subject to a per-counterparty exposure limit.

Smart contract risk

Screened before allocation

Protocols are required to satisfy audit history, minimum operating period and total value locked thresholds prior to allocation. Newly approved protocols are subject to an initial weighting cap.

Quarterly letter, Q2 2026

WG2-S declared yield: 9.25% to 6.25% over eighteen months

The declared rate on WG2-S fell from 9.25% to 6.25% between January 2025 and June 2026 as lending rates compressed across the market. The letter sets out the rationale for allowing the rate to decline rather than extending duration or credit risk, and reviews WG2-A directional positioning over the same period.
